This graphic illustrates Tom Brady and his numbers with and without key players of the New England Patriots. Obviously if you take any key player away from a quarterback the numbers will reflect the way that they do above. Pick away player by player and you can see how Brady’s numbers suffer, and rightfully so…. This graphic doesn’t even paint the full picture, the o-line has been a wreck this season as well, with or without these guys above.
Given all of this I am STILL optimistic. Nothing brings me down, we’re getting 2 of those 3 back in time for the playoffs… The only concern I have is the bye week in the playoffs is so key for us right now, we get that, we’re golden. I can tolerate being the #2 seed, we can go into Denver or Cincy and win easily. That’s if Denver even wins their divisional matchup in the playoffs with a new QB at the helm.
Let’s break down the season into little chunks, little wins we can focus on. We’re coming into the 4th quarter of the season boys and girls. It’s like a fresh new start. We dominated 2 quarters of the season and went 50/50 in the 3rd. We can only go up from there and I think the boys are going to take this in chunks, little victories that continue to build up their confidence and take us into the postseason.
We don’t have to focus on 16-0 anymore, and as much as myself and the rest of us would have loved that, we’re still a tier 1 team. Right now we focus on a new quarter, 4 games.. lets go 4-0 guys. That’s it. 4 games, 4 wins. Then make history again in the post season.
The day Gronk, Edelman, Amendola and Brady come running through that tunnel is a day the rest of the league is in a lot of trouble, and that’ll be here before they know it. We as Patriots fans are always decimated with the only tough decision at the end of the season being whether we rest our starters or not, now we just have to win some games, and going into the post season, there is nothing wrong with that… LETS GO!!!
