What a game. If you stayed up until 1 AM, you saw one of the best games of the season. Just a classic duel. That 3rd quarter was nothing short of spectacular entertainment. I sat there and said to myself, win or lose, I am fully entertained. Do the Celtics play the toughest team in the NBA tough or do they play them tough? I am all jacked up after that game, how the hell are you supposed to go to bed after that? I am ready to run through a wall. Celtics looking like a team that can go deep into the playoffs, and this was without Jae Crowder… Celtics in the conference finals? ANYTHING IS POSSIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Isaiah Thomas lead the way for the Celtics finishing the game with 22 points and 6 assists after a scoreless first half for him. Evan Turner had himself a game finishing with 21 points -5 assists -5 rebounds. Sullinger finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds. The Celtics struggled as a whole from the free throw line shooting just 19 of 30 (63%) but forced 22 turnover on the Warriors who were lead by a red hot Steph Curry who finished the game with 29 points and put on a 3 point clinic in the 3rd quarter. It was all for naught as Curry missed a last second 3 that would have tied the game. The win moves the Celtics to 44-32 and still holding in the #6 seed in the Eastern Conference. They take on the LA Lakers and Kobe Bryant for the very last time this Sunday at 9:30PM EST.
