It’s that time of the year baby. If Masters week doesn’t tell you to go in the garage and dust off your clubs in preparation for the season I don’t know what will. The groupings have been set for this years Masters. Lets take a brief look at some of the most intriguing pairings and their tee times:
Rickie Fowler, Zach Johnson, Cheng Jin.
Jason Dufner, Louis Oosthuizen, Patrick Reed.
Jordan Spieth, Paul Casey, Bryan DeChambeau.
Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, Emiliano Grillo.
Hideki Matsuyama, Vijay Singh, Chris Kirk.
Phil Mickelson, Henrik Stenson, Marc Leishman.
Adam Scott, Brooks Koepka, Kevin Kisner.
Bubba Watson, Ian Poulter, Branden Grace.
Jason Day, Matt Kuchar, Ernie Els.
Rory Mcllroy, Martin Kaymer, Bill Haas.
Lots of story lines this year as Phil looks to join the elite club of 4 or more majors with Tiger, Palmer, and Nicklaus.
Spieth looks to defend his title from last year and steal back the #1 overall ranking from a red hot Jason Day.
No Tiger this year.
Expect the usuals to bolt out of the gate early and often in Phil, Rory, Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Day, Scott, and many more of the greatest golfers the world has to offer.
My Prediction: Dustin Johnson.
The guy has been so close to a major for so many years now he just always finds away to fall apart on Sunday and lose his lead. I think this year he finally puts a 4th round together and puts on the green jacket Sunday.
P.S. I never feel bad for DJ when he blows a lead on tour anymore because at the end of the day he gets to go home to this:
Not a bad life eh DJ?
