The ESPN ship continues to sink faster than the Titanic itself how now apparently fired Ray Lewis and Cris Carter.
According to The Big Lead, Lewis and Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter are out at ESPN, with Randy Moss coming over from FOX Sports to help fill the void. ESPN has a press conference scheduled this afternoon to talk about their future lineups.
The fact that these two guys were employed by ESPN to begin with was astonishing. You have Ray Lewis who isn’t exactly the face of a company guy with a clean past and then there was Cris Carter who himself gave advice to many upcoming NFL players to make sure you find a “fall guy” to cover up for you when you screw up. Great advice from a classy individual. Maybe something happened with Ray Lewis and Cris Carter was his “fall guy”. Karma to the ultimate extreme.
Moss will be a great addition to the network that is falling apart. Truth be told ESPN is a sinking ship, guys are leaving left and right. Moss is very knowledgeable though and will bring a lot to the table. Maybe ESPN finally realized how pathetic they looked for employing Carter and Lewis.
