Almost every passionate young football player’s dream is to make it to top of the mountain – the NFL.
Many wonder why NFL players get paid so much, and though ticket sales and TV deals have much to do with it, the extremely sparse number of jobs available at each position with only 32 teams compared to any field is almost unseen.
This graphic shows just how slim the odds of any aspiring football player are to having the NFL dream come to fruition. The thing that made me laugh was a graphic showing student athletes to stay in school and focus on their education has a grammatical error in the very first error.
‘If “your” lucky enough to be one of the 6.5%’. SMH, you had one job. Oh the irony. If YOU’RE going to try to promote an education, you may want to have someone proofread your inspirational sign. Just saying…
