Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are world champs. It feels great to say that yet again. What Tom Brady and this Patriots team has been able to do for such a long period of time is remarkable.
If you look at other teams success, it’s spread out over decades with Super Bowls coming from different quarterbacks and different decades. Tom Brady and the Patriots have managed to be relevant every single year since 2000. 17 years, 17 years of being in the discussion of Super Bowl contenders. It’s no wonder they are hated so much outside of New England. I would imagine that would get old.
Tom Brady is 39 years old, he will be 40 the next time he takes a snap in the NFL and he is showing absolutely no signs of slowing up. His diet and workout regimen is designed to prolong his career and keep him on the field well into his 40’s. And it looks like that is all part of his plan with his latest Facebook post:
If he is going to play as long as he is able, I would expect him to be playing for a solid 4-5 more years. Sorry Gisele, he’s all ours! If he can win 1 more Super Bowl during that span and get to 6 on his own, that would just be insane. And what’s funny about that, is it’s very feasible. The Patriots are already 4/1 favorites to win it all again next year!
My son was born in 2013, one of the thoughts I had back when he was born was ‘man, he’s never going to experience Tom Brady live in person’, now that’s a very realistic possibility and that’s just insane to me.
