The New England Patriots may have moved on from LeGarrette Blount. The team announced they have signed running back Rex Burkhead who was a free agent from the Cincinnati Bengals. Tweets like this make me feel good about this guy…
The #Patriots announced they’ve signed RB Rex Burkhead, which is the #Patriotsest signing of all-time. #grit #woodhead

Burkhead is a good signing, he doesn’t quite have the size as Blount, but he is a solid runner and tough guy to bring down. He could also potentially be filling in the Bolden role as well, we will have to see how things play out with Blount.
I’m always for new faces, especially of hungry guys that are out to prove something. Last year, the 5′-10″ 215lb running back had 344 yards on 74 carries, a solid 4.6 yards per carry. Stout. The Patriots have a Rex of their own, and I’m not hating it…
