The Dallas Cowboys just confirmed that they will be releasing quarterback Tony Romo on Thursday according to Adam Schefter.

The 36 year old quarterback will still be pursued, among the teams interested in Romo are the Houston Texans and the Denver Broncos. Romo still has a little something left in the tank and something to prove, something that can certainly combine for one final go around.
In his career, Romo has racked up 34,000 yards passing and 248 touchdowns to go along with 117 INT’s. Romo has combined for a 78-49 record but just a 2-4 record in the post season.
