Last year on April 25th, Tom Brady’s 4-game suspension was reinstated and the #FreeTomBrady campaign returned stronger than ever. Not only that, the Patriots lost their 1st round draft pick for the upcoming draft. Pat fans said they would boycott the first day of the draft and they did just that. In 2015, Boston recorded a 3.7 rating which dropped to a 1.5 for round 1 in 2016. Faulk came out during Round 3 of the 2016 NFL Draft to make the Patriots pick at #78.
Let’s hear Kevin Faulk make the pick below:
“With the 78th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots AND Tom Brady select Joe Thuney, linebacker, North Carolina State,” Faulk said.
Not only did Faulk find a way to be a capeless hero, but he also announced the draft pick of Joe Thuney (who was a lineman not a linebacker). Thuney started at guard for the Patriots in the 2016 season and excelled at his craft ending the year as a Super Bowl Champion! Cheers all around!
