Today might be the most anticipated sports day for Seattle in a long time.
It’s Eddie Lacy weigh-in day!
Seahawks' RB Eddie Lacy has his second Seattle weigh-in today. If he weighs 250 pounds or less – cha-ching: $55,000. That's a lot of pizza.

I don’t know why, but I think I’m more nervous for Fat Boy Lacy’s weigh in than he is. Imagine the Sunday scaries that he must have had yesterday? This is borderline diabolical. Having a weigh in on a Monday morning should honestly be illegal. Its like drug testing Johnny Manziel after a week in Vegas. Seattle is just setting up Lacy for failure. Just an absolute diabolical move by the organization to schedule that weigh in on a Monday morning after a nice weather weekend. I can only imagine Eddie Lacy’s weekend diet. The amount of hot wings that are in that man’s body at any given moment must be astronomical.
There’s always a lot of talk about how uncertain NFL contracts are, and how important guaranteed money is, and now I see why. $55,000 is a lot of money, even for a pro athlete. If I’m in this situation and fail, I would just pull and Eric Cartman and blame it on muscle mass. Like”yea sorry coach, must have been spending too much time in the weight room” as I wipe away buffalo sauce from the cheek.
Also, I don’t really agree with this contract idea. It might work for other players, but honestly, I don’t want a skinny Eddie Lacy on my team. Eddie Lacy is Eddie Lacy because of his calorie intake. It’d be like having a humble Terrell Owens, or a sweetheart Richie Incognito. It just isn’t the same.
So thoughts and prayers for Eddie Lacy, as he has a normal person’s salary on the line because he’s a pro athlete and is still somehow fat. Thinking about you a little extra today, Ed. #FeastMode
