For most of us, our fantasy football draft isn’t for another two months, but it’s never too early to dive in. These are my top-10 rankings I have put together (barring injuries during camp or pre-season) that should pretty well stay cemented until your draft day. Leave your questions in the comment section!
Aaron Rodgers – Don’t kill me here Patriots fans. Brady is the greatest in the NFL, but ARod takes it in fantasy. Green Bay’s lack of a run game is my focal point. Also, Rodgers favorite WR kind of led the league in receiving TD’s last season.
Tom Brady – Because he’s Tom MF Brady
Drew Brees – The loss of Cooks won’t change Brees’s numbers much at all especially with the addition of a RB who can catch by the name of Adrian Peterson…plus Michael Thomas who exploded his rookie year.
Matt Ryan – He led the number 1 offense in 2016 and lost ZERO targets.
Andrew Luck – This guy is a fantasy headache. He’s the Gronk version of a QB, but when he’s healthy he is no doubt a top-5 QB in the NFL and in Fantasy.
Russell Wilson – Experimental backfield with Cheeseburger Eddie will leave Russ to keep throwing the ball. Doug Baldwin is kind of a good target to have as well.
Jameis Winston – Turnovers need to calm down, but Mike Evans is a top-5 WR and he was complimented during the off-season with DeSean Jackson.
Cam Newton – In a league where half the QB’s are doggy doo-doo, the former MVP is still a top-10 QB especially when he gives you rushing points as well.
Marcus Mariota – Coming off the best season of his career, Mariota’s stock is only going up while his team gets better. (The Titians are my dark horse to take their division this season)
Derek Carr/Kirk Cousins – I have two QB’s here because I believe both are top-10 QB’s even though that doesn’t add up. Derek Carr would be higher if he wasn’t coming off a nasty injury that unfortunately came at the END of the 2016 season. You like that?
