The time has come. The Boston Red Sox are in some serious need for help at the plate, so they’re doing something about it.
Today, the Red Sox announced that they have called up top prospect Rafael Devers. He will join the team in Seattle for their upcoming series with the Mariners:

Devers may not be the solution, but maybe he can provide a spark that this team really needs at the plate. Devers only played 9 games in Pawtucket where he hit .400 (14 for 35) with 2 homeruns and 4 RBI’s. Still, Devers’ bat could help the Red Sox’s offense especially near the bottom of the lineup, where Dombrowski says Devers will hit for the foreseeable future.
Hopefully he doesn’t come up, have a couple bad games then get the Yoan Moncada treatment. By the way, we just released a brand new shirt that is absolute fire! Pick one up here!
