Today I learned that there is an American Flag Football League. Today I also learned that former Patriots running back Jonas Gray is dropping wide open passes on underneath routes in this said flag football league.
Jonas is most well known for his 4 touchdown and 201 yard rushing performance that single handedly murdered the Colts during the 2014 season. Following that game, Jonas found himself on the cover of Sports Illustrated and in true Bellichickian fashion was promptly benched after showing up late to practice due to a faulty alarm clock.
Gray was basically never heard from again after being cut by the Patriots the following September and bounced around a couple of teams practice squads before becoming the flag football player we see before our eyes today…dropping passes from the golden armed Jimmy Clausen, who needs to stop licking his finger so much, it’s flag football man, chill.
How the mighty fall and your 15 minutes of fame can really be just that…
