The Red Sox vs. Yankees rivalry is one of the best in sports, but tonight, they’re putting that aside to raise money for victims of Hurricane Harvey that devastated the Houston area.
In a joint press release, the team’s acknowledged that they will be auctioning off various autographed memorabilia during tonight’s game with all proceeds going towards relief efforts:

“The effects of this crisis have been felt across the country, including our clubhouse where the hearts of many players have been with their family and friends who call Texas home,” said Red Sox chairman Tom Werner. “Tonight we put our rivalry aside and team up with the Yankees to bring support, attention and funds to help relief efforts in the aftermath of this tragedy.”
Good stuff from these two teams. Doing a really good thing. Anything can help, I would assume these two teams will also match the contributions.
