Earlier this morning, Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett (Brother of former Patriot Martellus Bennett) released a statement about an incident that occurred in Las Vegas after attending the Mayweather/McGregor fight at the end of August.
Michael explains while outside, he heard gun shots and made a run for it, like everyone else. That’s when police singled him out and pulled a gun on him as explained by this intense story he told this morning:

A video from the incident was also just released by TMZ showing Michael cooperating with the cop that was handcuffing him
The video was shot outside Drai’s Nightclub on August 26 — you can see one officer take position on a balcony while another cop handcuffs Bennett on the street level.
During the incident Bennett screams out, “I wasn’t doing nothing man! I was here with my friends! They told us to get out, everybody ran!”
Bennett claims the officer had pulled a gun on him and threatened to “blow my f*cking head off” — but you don’t see that occur in the brief footage TMZ obtained. At the time the video begins, Bennett is already being cuffed.
The Vegas police department says they are currently investigating the situation.
