November 30th, write that date down. It’s the day the Tiger Woods begins his epic comeback to the golf world.
Tiger Woods underwent his 4th back surgery in April, and most thought he’d never play competitively again, including Tiger himself. Less than a month ago, Woods said he could see a scenario where he doesn’t ever play competitively again. After that statement, Tiger started teasing us all with swing videos on his Twitter page, at this point he was just toying with us. First it was the irons in early October:

Then the driver a week later:

Then last week, the stinger. Oh baby, it’s really happening!

At this point we’re all wondering what the heck is going on, just one month ago, he said he could be done, but then his doctor gave him the go ahead. Today, Woods announced on his website, that he will be playing at the end of November at the Hero World Challenge:

Committee of 1 is laugh out loud funny since it’s his tournament. This is so incredibly bad*ss, if Tiger can come back and be some what dominant again, this will be huge for golf. Sure golf has done well with Spieth, McIlroy, DJ and Thomas, but Tiger is the main attraction. Golf still needs Tiger.
Tiger has without a doubt made mistakes in the past, he’s gone through injury woes, he’s hit rock bottom with his DUI. But now, it’s time for him to come back. It is going to be one hell of a comeback story. One that I can’t wait to watch. Hopefully his back can hold up this time. Previously when Tiger has come back, it seemed rushed, this time, it seems like he’s doing it right. Can’t wait bring on that red shirt on Sunday, the first pumps, the crowd going nuts. This is going to be special.
