Literally the funniest thing I’ve ever read. I’m going to root so hard for Geno Smith to light it up this weekend. I would love to see the end of all the Mannings. Manning is due a $5 million dollar roster bonus in March, so we all may see a Manning funeral in the spring.
Eli Manning, who’s real name is Elisha Manning (that’s a fact, google it), has started every Giants game since Nov. 21, 2004, a streak of 210 consecutive games. Streak ends Sunday, 87 games short of Brett Favre’s record. It’s sad enough to get benched, but to get benched for Geno Smith is an all time low.
I’d say how the mighty has fallen, but Eli was never mighty. Yeah he was on two teams that won Super Bowls but one was the luckiest play on earth and two was his defense. And now, a live look at Eli Manning:
