Lonzo Ball isn’t even the best rookie on his own team, let alone in the league, yet the NBA continues to push him hard because of his dad.
Wednesday, the 9-2 Celtics, who are currently riding a 9 game winning streak, are taking on the 5-5 Lakers, yet the game is being marketed as “Lonzo Wednesday”
ESPN is promoting Celtics-Lakers as “Lonzo Wednesday”

That’s cute when the rookie of the year is currently playing for the Celtics. Lonzo stinks, period. Let’s take a look at his game log and see how he’s doing:
- 11/5 Memphis 9 Points
- 11/3 Brooklyn 6 Points
- 11/2 Portland 0 Points
- 10/31 Detroit 13 Points
- 10/28 Utah 9 Points
- 10/27 Toronto 5 Points
I could go on but it doesn’t get any better for him. This kid is the most overhyped player possibly in sports history. He stinks, and Markelle Fultz stinks. Fultz actually got benched because his shooting is so horrid. Danny 1000% made the right move in drafting Tatum. It’s going to be fun watching the NBA’s best defense shut down Lonzo. Then ESPN wonders why they’re failing.
