I know this may come as a surprise, a shock even, but my primary source of income does not come from writing hilariously witty and occasionally poignant articles about Tom Brady.
Rather, I spend most of my time teaching at Crossroads School, which is a non profit day school for students with autism, located in Marlborough MA.
Now, I can tell you from first hand experience that Crossroads is an amazing school with even more amazing students. The teachers a pretty great as well (not to toot my own horn). However we have one huge problem….we don’t have a playground.
You see this September, we moved to a new, state-of-the-art campus. Which has nearly double the space for learning and developing independent living skills. However, this building did not come with a playground, and our students don’t currently have an outdoor space to play and learn.
That’s were you come in, as a non profit school we rely on generous souls, such as yourself, to raise money and ensure our students have the best resources available to them, and this year a playground is the top priority.
We are in the midst of our annual fundraiser and I can personally promise you that any money you choose to donate to Crossroads, whether it be $1 or a $1,000,000 (I’m assuming this post will reach at least one philanthropic millionaire) that it will be put to helping our students reach their greatest potential.
If you wish to donate, Follow this link, it provides proof that I am in fact a real person that actually teaches at Crossroads, and provides a little more info about us. Thank you so much for your support!!
And if you’re unable to donate, which is totally cool, please hit the share button to spread the word!
