What’s better than Kyrie Irving? How about a masked Kyrie Irving.
Kyrie Irving left yesterday’s Celtics game vs the Hornets with a head injury. He is reportedly in concussion protocol but also suffered a fractured bone in his face. According to report, he will likely miss tomorrow’s game, but will play the next two weeks with the beautiful face mask:
Sources: Boston’s Kyrie Irving will likely miss Sunday’s game with facial fracture, then play through the injury with a fitted mask for two weeks.

The concussion protocol with Kyrie must be the easiest test on the planet. “Kyrie, what shape is Earth”, “Round”… “it’s so much worse than we thought…”.
The Celtics struggled to put up points without Irving and Horford in the lineup last night but somehow they miraculously pulled off an 18 point comeback against the Hornets. The Celtics will have their biggest test of the season Thursday night at home against the Warriors. Having Irving healthy for that game will be key. It also sounds like Horford is very close to returning as it’s being reported that he could return as early as tomorrow, so he should be back by Thursday as well.
