Earlier today Odell Beckham Jr. tweeted out this video (which he later deleted) that compared his emotional actions on the football field to that of the Goat, Tom Brady-

Beckham, who has just a wee bit of a history of not being able to control emotions, tried to defend the comparison on Twitter by saying this-
I learned from him. This is the 🐐. So I’m following his lead, I just may not know how to express it the same way. But don’t get it confused , how 12 feels about the game , I would have a hard time sayin that’s not EXACTLY how I feel. #GoatChasin https://t.co/WiTVSL31ar

And you know what? I don’t entirely disagree with him. Brady is a man possessed on the field and has 5 Super Bowl rings to prove it. In theory there is absolutely nothing wrong with trying to emulate anything Tom Brady does.
Buttttttt, and here’s the rub, you should never ever compare yourself to the Greatest of All Time in any shape or form. Rather you should keep his sacred name out of your unworthy, Super Bowl ringless mouth. It’s a fruitless endeavor that only makes Odell look totally aloof to his perception around the league.
First, beyond individual statistics he’s done nothing of significance in his short time in the league. Second, he is widely viewed as a petulant cry baby. Last year, Odell literally wept on the sidelines like someone had stolen his favorite toy truck when Redskins CB Josh Norman picked off a pass intended for him-
l’s reputation has not to do with displaying fiery emotions on the sidelines, rather it deals with the apparent lack of maturity by the Giants WR. Until we see Tom Brady bawling his eyes out on the field, not including in the context of winning another Super Bowl Championship, Odell should probably keep any comparisons he may see between himself and the GOAT to himself.
And you know what, nobody better bring up this photo, Tom’s allowed to get emotional off the field, he has a big heart-
