This may explain why he had a quiet week last week, Patriots WR Chris Hogan was downgraded to OUT in today’s big game vs the Steelers.
Hogan played 55 of 61 offensive snaps last week but only caught 1 pass for 1 yard in what was a very quiet game.
A surprise for today’s big game: Patriots WR Chris Hogan not expected to play vs Steelers as he continues recovery from shoulder injury, per league source.

Look for newly acquired WR Kenny Britt to be involved today in the offense with Hogan being out. It seems like Hogan may have tested that shoulder a little too early on Monday in Miami, he didn’t seem like himself at all. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see him again until the post season, let that thing heal 100%. Big game, gonna need some guys to step up today. Need Cooks to have a big game, need Lewis running the ball a ton. Must win, it’s December, Brady and Co. will do their thing.
