Gronk suggested he would be ready to go with an Instagram caption that read, “Locked in. Ready to roll.”
This is fantastic news for the Patriots who had their star tight end go down and have to leave the game with a concussion in the AFC Championship against the Jaguars. Barry Church, who hit Gronk, was fined almost $25,000 for the illegal hit but the loss of number 87 was greater than any NFL implemented fine. The 28-year-old has suffered a lot of injuries since joining the league but he also knows how to make an incredible comeback after going through the recovery process and this seems no different. Patriots fans expect Gronkowski to be ready to go, and ready to win, when Sunday rolls around.
