When I saw this tweet on my timeline, do you know what I didn’t do? Read the article. Why? Because the idea that Bill Belichick would actually leave the Patriots this offseason to coach the Giants is absolute and complete garbage.
I’ve read enough manufactured lies about the Patriots today and I honestly didn’t feel like wasting my time reading more…..but alas I am a weak human being and I couldn’t help but succumb to the click bait nature of this article by the NY Daily News.
And you know what? I’m glad I did, because their are some outrageously hilarious quotes in this “story”-
“I’m sure Bill knows this is his last chance to be the Giants coach,” a source close to Belichick said Friday. “Bill sees an opening — an opening to get to the Giants.”
Ah yes, Bill has been trapped in the hell hole that is NE for far too long. He been scratching and clawing to get out, but there has never been even a sliver of a chance at escape. But now that the 3-13 NY Giants have an opening at HC, Bill can finally rid himself of the unbearable duo of Tom Brady and Robert Kraft and join forces with Eli Manning and John Mara….give me a break.
“The Patriots dynasty could be crumbling. It’s only surprising egos had not already toppled it.
The Giants, meanwhile, have an attractive opening. Despite their 3-13 season, they are considered a stable franchise with tradition and have the No. 2 pick in the draft.”
Yup, nailed it. The Patriots dynasty is crumbling like a stale piece of bread being rubbed against a cheese grater. Brady’s half way down the cliff he’s falling off of and is about to go splat on surface below…..wait, whoops I forgot the Patriots are the #1 seed in the AFC and the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Regardless I’m sure Bill values a 3-13 team who has the #2 pick in the draft more though….
So you guys get the idea, it goes on and on like this with one outrageous statement after the other. Just another garbage article that relies on an unnamed “source”, written by a “journalist”‘ trying to cash in on the “drama” in Foxboro.
