I’m sorry, what?!
Yes, you read this article title correctly, a player who is about to participate in the biggest game of the year claims he has never actually sat down and watched the big game.
Unlike all of us who watched as a kid, many of us had to beg our parents to watch the entire game. Fletcher Cox’s first memory of a Super Bowl will be from inside the action… allegedly
The Eagles defensive end stated that he just doesn’t watch sports in general:
#Eagles DE Fletcher Cox said he has no favorite moments from the Super Bowl because he’s never watched one. “I don’t watch sports. Y’all know that.”

Come February 4, he will no longer be able to say he’s never seen a Super Bowl, but he will still miss all those hyped up Super Bowl commercials and an epic halftime show.
Personally, Super Bowl Sunday is my favorite day of the year. It’s like Christmas and New Year’s and my birthday combined into one amazing and often nerve-racking day on football’s biggest stage. I can’t imagine missing even a minute of the Super Bowl never mind every single one.
Many don’t believe that he’s never seen a Super Bowl and have searched through his old tweets in an attempt to catch him lying. (Editor Note: I call BS)

It looks like Fletcher got exposed for being a liar with the screen shots below. Reacting on Twitter at the same time as Malcolm Butler’s INT. (Who lies about that?)
