If you beat the team that beat the two teams playing for the National Championship, that makes you the champions. That’s if you’re the University of Central Florida.
UCF, who you may not have heard of until this year, was the only team to finish the season undefeated. When you play one of the easiest schedules in college football, it’s not that difficult task. But UCF is showing they are a bunch of spoiled millennials with their latest move.
After beating the Auburn Tigers in the Peach Bowl, the team announced they are conducting a national championship parade on campus and will be hanging a banner that’ll boast UCF as national champs:
UCF AD Danny White says #UCF will be hanging a National Championship banner at Spectrum Stadium.

Their official Twitter account is plastered with National Championship graphics:
This is so embarrassing. This is pretty much what will show up now when you look up the term “millennial”. If you want to get in the playoffs, move to a conference that isn’t glorified high school and go undefeated. They play Maine for god sakes, who the hell knew the University of Maine even had a football team. Same with UConn, and the rest of their schedule.
Just because Kansas City, Carolina and Miami best the Patriots this year, it doesn’t make them champions.
