It’s been a few months since the horrifying Gordon Hayward injury, but the Celtics star has been making incredible progress.
Hayward has been focusing on the physical and mental aspects of the recovery and has kept a positive outlook about returning to the court.
He does not normally travel with the team but made the trip to LA and was seen shooting around before the game. He’s not 100% yet but hey, any progress is good progress. Hayward is hoping he will be able to travel with the team regularly come March.

A few days ago he was seen shooting 3’s, lots and lots of 3’s, giving hope to Celtics fans everywhere.

It is doubtful that Hayward will return this season, anyone who saw his injury shouldn’t be surprised about that, but his progress gives great hope for the future.
When asked if Gordon Hayward would come back this season, Celtics exec tells me “Probably not, but still too early to tell anything. He’s progressing nicely. “
