BOSTON (AP) — A woman woke up to find a gruesome sight on her car in the Boston neighborhood of Hyde Park.
The woman found a bloody goat head on her car hood early Tuesday morning with a photo of herself tucked under the windshield wiper blades.
The woman was walking her dog up Garfield Avenue around 6 a.m. and noticed the head of the animal.
Police say she drove her car about half a mile to the Hyde Park branch of the Boston Police Department with the grisly scene still intact.
Well folks, lots to unpack in this story.
First, where in the world did this person find a goat to decapitate in the middle of Hyde Park? Did they literally snatch it directly out of the Franklin Park Zoo? If so, the petting zoo is down a member in the barnyard.
Subsequently, after seeing their friend kidnapped, the Franklin Park goats are likely suffering from low moral and possibly PTSD. In addition to that, now there’s one less goat for the children to pet.
So not only are there less goats at the petting zoo, the goats can’t possibly be in the headspace to be pet by a bunch of grubby kids on a field trip. Consequently the real victims of this senseless crime are the children and the goats.
Secondly, why a goat? What’s the message here? Surely this must be symbolic. The story says that the goat murderer left a photo of the women on her car. Perhaps he is simply a lover scorned, trying to reiterate that he could of been the Greatest Boyfriend of All Time?
Is it a stretch? Yes, but the only other explanation I have is that this women has some sort of relationship with a Satanic cult.
The story say’s that the women drove a half mile to the police station with a SEVERED GOAT HEAD on the hood of her car, so apparently this whole ordeal didn’t really bother her too much. Which is why I’m not ready to totally disregard a connection to the occult.
I mean, imagine going to your car, finding that monstrosity impaled right through your hood ornament and being so unscathed by the sight, that you just calmly drive to the police station? At traffic lights did this women just casually roll to a stop and wave at pedestrians crossing the street? That definitely sounds like a former cult member to me.
