Want to talk about a baller move. Not being re-signed by the team that you won a Super Bowl, then you show up at Titans camp on day 1, pick off your QB, then punt the ball to the moon.
That’s exactly what Malcolm Butler did who is now playing for the Tennessee Titans:

No one will ever know exactly why Malcolm didn’t play in the Super Bowl last year, but I do know we certainly wouldn’t have allowed 41 points with him back there. We can all talk about how Belichick preaches about doing what’s best for the team, but I can assure benching Malcolm wasn’t best for the team. To this day we have no explanation. And what’s even more baffling about all of this is that the person that started for Malcolm didn’t even know he was starting until game time. The whole thing doesn’t make sense to me. The only thing I’m left to assume is Malcolm did something really bad, and it was kept quiet as a favor to Malcolm so he could get signed somewhere this year. Until I’m told otherwise, that has to be it. It’s not right, it’s like your dad breaking up you and your girlfriend, putting her with someone else, and never giving you a reason why. It will mentally mess me up for eternity.
Love you Malcolm. Miss you, sincerely, everyone.
