Just when you think everything is going great, something like this happens.
Patriots WR Josh Gordon, who has been given a new chance in his career with the Patriots, is being disciplined by the team for tonight’s game against the Buffalo Bills for reportedly being tardy:
Sources: The #Patriots are disciplining WR Josh Gordon during tonight’s game vs. the #Bills because of tardiness. He’s expected to be kept off the field for several series — about a quarter — as they continue to work with & manage him. It’ll be regular playing time after that.

Gordon was traded to the Patriots earlier this year after showing up late to work for the Browns. That was the last straw after several suspensions and other issues in Cleveland.
This year for the Patriots, Gordon has racked up 241 yards on 14 receptions as well as 2 TD’s. Hopefully this is something that is in fact just a few series or a quarter and we can move past this. Gordon has been great thus far for New England and I hope he doesn’t take a couple steps back from his redemption tour. If this is the only hiccup, this is nothing.
