I don’t think I can ever forgive Ian Kinsler for what he did to me last night. It’s beyond forgivable and I feel personally victimized. The Red Sox lost game 3 of the World Series to the Dodgers in the 18, yes 18th, inning! But it didn’t have to be that way.
On a night the Sox bats were as cold as ice, they were able to tie the game with an 8th inning homer by Jackie Bradley Jr. that tied the game 1-1.
Ian Kinsler entered the game in the 10th as a pinch runner, got picked off 1st but was bailed out by a replay. Phew. He goes 1st to 3rd on a base hit, over-slides the bag and gets back inches before being tagged. Phew. Then after a fly ball out, he’s gunned down at the plate by Bellinger, and for some reason he didn’t slide on the high throw.
Cody Bellinger are you SERIOUS!?
He throws out the go-ahead run at home in the 10th!!

If that wasn’t frustrating enough, sit tight. The Red Sox took the lead in the top of the 13th when Brock Holt scored on an infield error. The Sox lead 2-1 and needed just 3 outs to make the series 3-0. Then it happened. With two outs and a runner on 3rd, Yasiel Puig hit a ground ball to second base and Kinsler did this:

Between the baserunning, being thrown out at the plate, and this costly throwing error, you could say that Ian Kinsler was the goat. But you can’t say that now, because a few years ago someone decided that g.o.a.t. stands for greatest of all time, so now using the term is super confusing. But Kinsler was in fact, the goat of game 3.
Game 4 starter Nathan Eovaldi pitched 6 innings in relief last night, giving up 1 run in 6 innings, he pitched out of his mind and didn’t deserve to lose. The game ended with a walk off homer in the 18th.

I have no idea who’s going to pitch tonight, probably Pomeranz since he was the only one left, but that one hurt me deep. Time to rebound and get this thing to 3-1. 3-1 sounds a hell of a lot better than 2-2. Let’s go Sox!!
