What Tom Brady has done two games into his season is incredible. He has thrown for 762 yards with 6 touchdown passes and 0 interceptions, an NFL record for a player in their first two games of the season. He is already leading the league completion %, Passing YPG, Pass TD PG, and Total QBR:14801065_10157551832235117_389373419_n

During the win over the Bengals on Sunday, Brady became the 4th player in NFL history to have at least 5,000 completions. He trails Favre (6,300), P. Manning (6,125) and Brees (5,515).

With Sunday’s win, Brady is now 47-1 at home against AFC opponents since 2007. That is not a typo. 1 loss in 48 games. I have started to do some research and there is no QB that anything comparable to this. Brady’s 1 loss came at the finale of the 2014 season where he played roughly half the teams snaps against the Bills as all playoff scenarios were clinched. Brady was credited with the loss. In a league that preaches the “any given Sunday” mentality, Brady has managed a .979 winning percentage. A number that is out of this world.

Through Brady’s 2 games, he has already thrown more touchdown passes (6) than Ryan Fitzpatrick (5), Joe Flacco (5), Russell Wilson (5), Blaine Gabbert (5), Alex Smith (5) and Dak Prescott (4).

In making his debut Oct. 9 at Cleveland, Brady became the franchise’s longest-tenured player, surpassing the 16 seasons by Steve Grogan (1975-1990). Brady’s 17 seasons with one team are tied for the most by an NFL quarterback with John Brodie (San Francisco) and Marino (Miami) Per Mike Reiss.

With the win on Sunday, Brady now has 197 career wins (including postseason). He needs 5 more to become the NFL’s most winning quarterback of all time.

Tom Brady is now 25-0 when he throws for 300 yards, 3 TD’s and 0 INT’s in a game. No player who has done that at least 7 times is undefeated.

While there is still a lot of football ahead of this season, Brady who is 39 years old, is certainly at the top of his game.
